My Cake Creations
Please visit http://shannonscreativecakes.blogspot.com to see more up-to-date pictures. I recently started this blog to showcase my cakes and start my business. (Added 6.25.09)
I just wanted to post pics of my cakes through the years…nothing special, just for fun. It began with Jenna’s 2nd birthday and I have been making them ever since. Take a look!
Oh, I was wrong…I made this one first. This was for a birthday party/family get-together for my grandparents in August 2004. I have to say, this one had the best taste of them all! Can’t go wrong with chocolate and strawberries!

Derek’s 30th Birthday Party, September 2006
Jenna’s 4th Birthday…January 2007…Dora the Explorer
Emily’s 1st Birthday…May 2007…Baby Animals (not that you can tell from the cake!)
Jenna’s 5th Birthday…January 2008…Pink Poodle Party
I totally forgot to take a picture of “the spread” before serving it! So, I took a picture of the leftovers…nothing special though, just cupcakes and brownie pops.
Emily’s 2nd Birthday…May 2008…Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
My Nephew’s Kindergarten Graduation Party…May 2008
My Grandparents’ 60th Wedding Anniversary, June 2008
Strawberries dripped down…not intentional…oh well!
Jenna’s 6th Birthday Party…January 2009…Princess Tea Party

Jenna loved the idea that this was a castle made of ice cream cones!

Compared to the picture in the Wilton book…I couldn’t find the candy-coated chocolate mints they said to use, so upon Derek’s suggestion, I used strawberry Whoppers.

How funny…Jenna is wearing the same dress as she is wearing in her 3rd birthday pics! Snow White is her favorite dress-up costume.

Hey girl,
You have a very creative side to you! I see where the girls get their creativity and imagination! The cakes are beautiful! I have always been interested in cake decorating but have only done a few. I have really sloppy handwriting! Anyway I love the cakes and the brownie pops look like a cool idea!
