Happy Easter!
First of all, I want to wish all of you a Happy Easter weekend! Thank God for sending His only Son to die a horrible death on the cross to pay for our sins so we don’t have to. But even more than that…thank you, God, for raising Him from the dead so we can have an everlasting relationship with You. We don’t take the significance of this holiday for granted…it is all about You and the resurrection of Your Son! Jesus is ALIVE! And we can know Him as Savior, Lord, Healer, Comforter, Friend, Deliverer, Teacher, Provider, and the list goes on.
Also, I want to share some pictures…first of the Easter cupcakes I made for our family gathering tomorrow. Simple but cute, in my opinion! Then some from Jenna’s school party and egg hunt on Thursday. Lastly, there are some of Emily at an egg hunt this morning. She won a huge basket…well actually, the person sitting next to us got two eggs that won prizes so he gave one to Emily….we just happened to be sitting in the right place! (Jenna was in Tyler with her grandma visiting Uncle Jamie and Aunt Amie.)
